Arnold Ventures Spends Millions of Dollars on Groups Supporting Soft on Crime Policies.

We constantly see these protests where Antifa terrorists and other professional thugs burn cities and attack law-abiding citizens, and nothing ever seems to happen to them.  Why these terrorists never end up in jail isn’t hard to figure out, it’s a combination of policies like cashless bail and soft on crime sentences.

After Soros, the leading funder of these policies is Enron billionaire John Arnold through his company Arnold Ventures.  Chuck Ross over at the Free Beacon lays it out pretty clearly, but the TL;DR is “cashless bail, the reduction of jail populations, and an attempt to reduce racial and ethnic disparities in jails–have come to Mecklenburg County by way of the MacArthur Foundation, the country’s 12th largest private charity, and Arnold Ventures, the private philanthropy of former Enron executive John Arnold.

When Congress and the Administration works to get to the bottom of why career criminals and Antifa terrorists are on the street instead of in a jail cell, they need to look no further than Arnold Ventures.  While Soros funds the DA campaigns, Arnold Ventures funds the advocacy campaigns that change the laws to turn these criminals back out onto the street. It’s a tag-team effort that is killing our cities.

Arnold Ventures has awarded grants since 2019 for “racial justice” research. The organization developed an Artificial Intelligence platform that makes recommendations whether violent criminals should be granted bail. The judge in Charlotte, North Carolina who presided over the trial of Decarlos Brown—the career criminal who murdered Ukrainian refugee Iryna Zarutska after being released with no bond—called the software “a very helpful tool.” Arnold Ventures has given $18 million since 2020 to a think tank that provides training on the program, which is used in 59 jurisdictions.  Mr. Arnold has spent more than $46 million on criminal justice reform since 2019, “exceeding the $40 million that [George] Soros has spent over the past decade to elect liberal prosecutors.”
